French champions Paris St-Germain have signed Inter Milan’ sstriker Mauro Icardi for 60 million euros (£54m).
The 27-year-old Argentina international joined PSG in September with a buy-out clause on a season-long loan.The new deal means that until June 2024 he will be on the French side.
Icardi scored 20 goals in 31 matches in all competitions before the official end of the French season on 30 April, with 10 games left due to the coronavirus pandemic.He battled with Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani, the all-time highest scorer of PSG, whose contract expires on 30 June, for a place on the team.
